Foptions, Aoptions, and Dispositions

From the most sophisticated program, to the simple build command, the MPE operating system uses file options, access options, and dispositions to create files. The first parmameter, called FOPTS, describes the physical attributes of the file to MPE. The second parmameter, called AOPTS, describes how the file is to be accessed by MPE. The third parmameter, called DISP, instructs MPE how to close the file.
