The success or failure of any project comes right down to communication between all of the members of the team. I have seen many projects end badly because of a single person was not aware of some important fact. People just think that because you work on computers, that you know everything that’s needed. That’s just not true.
When I work with someone, I make sure to ask a lot questions. Sometimes it seems like a hassle, but taking that time to talk with me will ensure things end in a good way. As the project goes on, the communication should continue. With status reports and additional questions, clients should be kept in the loop as the project moves along.
This is a very good life lesson. Keeping everyone in the know, there can’t be any misunderstandings. No matter if your talking about computers or relationships in general.
